Why we are changing the investment strategies
We want to give our customers a better potential for achieving a higher return on their pension savings. We expect equities etc. to yield higher returns than bonds over time – which has historically been the case. We will therefore gradually increase the proportion of equities etc. for most of our customers whose pension savings are placed in Danica Balance.
How this will affect your pension savings depends on the investment strategy you have selected.
Going forward, you will not be able to attach a guarantee
We assess that it is no longer financially attractive to attach a guarantee to Danica Balance pension schemes. From 1 April 2026, it will therefore not be possible to attach a guarantee.
If you do not have a guarantee, you will not be able to attach a guarantee to your Danica Balance pension scheme going forward. The same applies to new customers.
If you have a guarantee attached to your Danica Balance pension scheme, you will keep the guarantee whether it has taken effect or not. However, if at some point you deselect the guarantee, you cannot attach a guarantee again after 1 April 2026.
What you should do
We will automatically change Danica Balance, and you do not have to do anything.
