If you are diagnosed with a critical illness, you will in many cases receive financial support through your insurance cover. The payout will be in the form of a lump sum and will be free of taxation. It is up to you how you spend the money – whether on treatments abroad or on making your life more pleasant during a difficult time.
Requirements for taking out a personal insurance cover:
Anyone between the age of 18 and 50 can take out the insurance cover. You only need to provide satisfactory health information.
