Life after cancer

Far too many people in Denmark find themselves in a mental vacuum after completing cancer treatment. We want to help alleviate this situation by offering a targeted programme giving you, our customer, access to assistance from a wide range of experts through our Health Package and health insurance. We are introducing a comprehensive programme combining our entire catalogue of help for cancer survivors in one place. You can get help to eat right, get your body back in balance, plan your finances and process the challenging emotions brought on by a cancer diagnosis.

Components of our cancer programme

  • Medical Help

Our doctors offer online advice on symptoms and any long-term physical and mental side effects of cancer treatment. The doctor can offer medical advice, prescription renewals and recommend further treatment through our other online offers, such as consultations with a psychologist or a dietician, to get you the support you need in your new daily life.

  • Leadership coaching

We offer coaching that focuses both on the manager’s own role and on supporting employees with long-term side effects. Managers get help both to handle their own stress and insecurities and to adjust their employee’s workload and working hours. Advice and guidance is also available to help managers understand the long-term side effects of cancer treatment. We also support managers in having constructive talks with cancer-stricken employees about their future working life, so that the new daily life is adapted to the employee's changed working capacity as a result of long-term side effects.
